# Electric Circuits and Ohm's Law

In our physics class this week, we started a new topic called electric circuits. Although we have just begun, our teacher informed us that we will have a test on this topic next week. So far, we have been focusing on understanding and memorizing the formulas related to electric circuits, particularly Ohm's Law for the total circuit. - Determine the power dissipated by a resistor in a circuit:
- Measure the current flowing through the resistor.
- Measure the voltage across the resistor.
- Use the formula P = I * V to calculate the power dissipated.

- Calculate the equivalent resistance of a parallel circuit:
- Determine the resistance values of each branch in the circuit.
- Use the formula 1/Req = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + ... + 1/Rn to calculate the equivalent resistance.
